En Direct de Paris

Live from Paris! We arrived at 8:30 this morning, but our bags did not. Hopefully they get here within the next day or two. Air France gave us 100 euros each to compensate for our lost luggage. I thought it was nice of them to throw that good news in with the bad, but as you could imagine we'd like to get our luggage asap. We will look forward to spending the extra euros, especially since "the sales" are going on now in France. We have had a wonderful reunion with our dear friend Timothee. His family is great. We will stay with them in Versaille all week. We've already had delicious cheeses and breads, toured the Palace of Versaille, attended a Catholic mass, and had two great meals with Timothee's family. It was hard to stay awake all day but hopefully tomorrow our bodies will catch up with the time change.

The rest of our week should look something like this:

M: Meet Timothee in Paris over his lunch break, walk around for few hrs, dinner and overnight with good friend Agnes and her father

T: Lunch with the Roots, who are from the States and will be in ET with us next week adopting their two darling children, afternoon and evening enjoying museums and a date night with Michael

W: Daytime to sightsee + shop, evening with Timothee, his awesome girlfriend Anne, and their friends at Anne's appt in Paris

R: Daytime in Paris, Movie night with Timothee's family in celebration of his sister finishing an exam to get into school to be a doctor

F: Catch EARLY flight to ET and travel all day, arrive at Guest House around 8pm and probably head straight to bed

S: Travel to Sodo, where we will stay overnight and meet Tegegne's birth family
