Progress

Dear Son,

We are working hard to to take steps to bring you home as soon as possible. We are having meetings with our social worker so she can get to know us and tell Ethiopia that we will be suitable parents for you. I had my personal meeting yesterday, and your dad's is Friday. We are also working hard to get the attic renovation done so we can have the in-home study. It is scheduled for April 1, so we will have plenty of time to get organized. I will be so glad to find out how old you are. It will be so fun to prepare your room. I hope you have a pleasant sleep tonight.

Here is my prayer for you:

Most loving Father, whose will it is for us to give thanks for all things, to fear nothing but the loss of you, and to cast all our cares on you who cares for us: Preserve our son from faithless fears and worldly anxieties, that no clouds of this mortal life may hide him from the light of that love which is immortal, and which you have manifested to us in your Son Jesus Christ our Lord; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
