So, these are our "hot babes" crying their heads off, ha! Poor babies. Once we got going they were fine and sort of enjoyed the ride. It was a good ride around the Town Lake Trail. Renting bikes made us appreciate our bikes at home! One of our favorite times with Jonathan and Tanya (pre-parent) was when we both road tandems around Kansas City. Michael and my bike had gears and theirs didn't. Anyway, this ride was much easier even with our children.
Tegegne and Michael loved their ride. This was Tegegne's first time to do pedals like this. He has outgrown his balance bike, so he just may get a new bike for his birthday. We think we are going straight to pedals and no training wheels. The balance bike is supposed to teach balance. I'll let you know how that goes!
